Our Story
Prior to starting Mosaic Counseling, our experience with psychiatric hospitals, the judicial system and the community mental health system put us close to people who neglected their mental health issues and avoided the problems that all of us must face. Tragically, these people suffered broken lives. By the time they reached the hospital or the state system, enormous amounts of money were being spent on interventions that would have little lasting effect. We also observed that larger systems have difficulty maintaining a patient's privacy, confidentiality and individuality.

In response, we decided to create a practice that provides skilled services that fit each individual, giving them tools that will help them for the rest of their lives. At the same time, we adhere to the highest standards of ethical behavior, safety and confidentiality as set out by the American Psychological Association, the American Counseling Association and the National Association of Social Workers.
Our Approach
At Mosaic, we are able to virtually eliminate administrative costs, passing the savings on to our clients. We accomplish this by creating a practice where each therapist is a sole proprietor who does his or her own scheduling and billing. In this way each client contracts with only their personal therapist and no one else.
Each therapist is expected to continue his or her professional growth through education, professional supervision and personal therapy. We pride ourselves in our therapists who offer a wide range of competencies.
We offer high quality education, individual and group therapy, couples counseling, family therapy and play therapy for children. If you truly want to deal with life's difficulties, experience healing, mend your family, and live a more fulfilling life, we can help you get there.
